HARMONIZING BIODIVERISTY REPORTING Harmonization of reporting for biodiversity-related treaties is a concrete example of action designed for enhancing synergies. It is carried out in response to the establishment of the Environmental anagement Group's Issue Management Group on the subject with UNEP acting as task manager. Pilot projects on harmonization of reporting for biodiversity, facilitated by UNEP, have been carried out in Ghana, Indonesia, Panama and Seychelles to test information management and harmonization concepts in the context of national reporting to the five global biodiversity-related conventions.
